The designer duo Fred & Fred is distinguished by its innovative combinations of materials and lights that help illuminate living and working . Present at Maison & Objet ASIA in Singapore from March 10 to 13 , they present their latest achievements , always a little more avant-garde .
The Lille designers Frédéric Frédéric Gervais Remaud and formed the duo Fred & Fred whose work celebrates light.
The concept? Apply the projection of light on a frosted background with artificial light the LED. The work light comes in for particular products , including lamps and walls to provide natural light in architecture. As they tamed the light , Fred & Fred the project in a fun way , creating effects , each of which creates a new atmosphere.
From March 10 to 13 , the designer duo Fred & Fred participates in Maison & Objet ASIA in Singapore to discover two of its flagship projects: a wall light whose light approach to therapy , and applies futuristic that inserts bright accents in space, like flames .
After several years of applied research , the inventors Fred & Fred Illuminate BLOX develop a concept of innovative optical slab inspired by the pinhole technique . Dedicated in 2011 by the famous ” Red Dot Design Award ” , the module glass Fred & Fred gives new life to the world of interior design , giving rise to a line of high-performance solutions and lighting elements ultra contemporary luxury . Formed on one side of lens 16 , and the other , frosted glass that allows light to enter , this realization to be revolutionary . Playing on the light intensity , the choice of colors and animation pictures or videos, achievements duo Fred & Fred seduce renowned architects such as Jean Nouvel with a wall of optical blocks for the Serpentine Gallery in London , or agency Willmotte & Associates for a bright and colorful wall for the Paris headquarters of free . Fred & Fred also counts among its other staff office trends Nelly Rodi , and Balenciaga. Meanwhile, Lille designers work directly with individuals to develop tailor-made solutions ( walls , doors , bright objects).
